My wife and I got a tempurpedic cloud because we were tired of waking up with back pain from the 15 year old mattress we had currently owned. We had seen the commercials and every thing seemed to point to the cloud and a way to end back pain. Since this was going to...

We tested ours out in the store first and it felt like heaven. Then ours gets delivered and we were both wondering if maybe the wrong bed was brought to us.

Unfortunately, it was the correct bed. It was so hard and uncomfortable, nothing like the one we tried in-store. And we bought ours on sale and the terms of that sale would not allow us to return in. We have had it for quite some time and I still have neck and back pain, constant tossing and turning, and I can't sleep on my side or my side falls asleep- it is that hard.

I just couldn't believe how different the one in store was compared the one that we got and it was the same bed.

Talk about a costly disappointment. And we got the fancy base that lifts your head and feet up- waste waste waste of money for the whole thing.

TempurPedic in Westland, Michigan - Dents in mattresses - mechanism lousy-2 *** beds

We bought our first bed about 7 yrs ago, a king size. After about 3 yrs, there were dents, one on each side. I wrote the company. They told me to put the mattress on the floor then measure depressions. We cant do that. I then started a series of surgeries so hubby got me a queen size that I could adjust to help ease pain. After 2 yrs, it had a depression so bad I couldnt roll over because of the bar in center of bed was higher than depression. I now have 2 mattresses 1 king & 1 adjustable queen that are pretty worthless. I would like to trash both of them and finding something we can sleep on

Purchased a tempurpedic rhapsody king size in 2009. After 5 years there was some sag.

Started a warranty claim. Did the measuring with a quarter and a broom over the sag so they could see the depression. (this is what it says to do in their warranty instructions. We were not asked to put it on the floor.

Sent the pics in with a copy of our original receipt and a picture of the tag on the bed and in about 2 days got an email that said our claim had been accepted and we would be getting a new bed in about 2-4 weeks. This was on Jan.21, 2014. Today is 2/7/2014 and our new bed including new foundation has just been delivered by J.B. Hunt.

No cost to us for anything. Plus we still get the full warranty on our replacement! I am sorry you had such a problem, maybe you could try again.

The full warranty is still good for the first 10 years.

We have a 9 yr old Tempur-pedic that is like sleeping on a rock. We have tried more than once to get some kind of resolution from "customer service" but trying to get our 25 yr warranty honoured seems to be impossible. Frustrated and tired of sleeping on a mattress...

TempurPedic in Bolingbrook, Illinois - 7yr old mattress had depressions

We bought a temperdic mattress 7 years ago . It developed depressions where we laid. Read all of the complaints about getting no support about the 10 year full replacement. I took the necessary pictures. Did the quarter measurement and waited. Thinking, after reading the bad reviews that they would not honor my warranty, I started to look for a replacement mattress. To my surprise, they honored my 10 year full replacement warranty. We not only got a new mattress but a new foundation and steel frame. This happended within 2 weeks. The smell of the new mattress lasted 1 day opened the window, it was gone

We are going through the same thing right now, they are replacing our mattress as well. Did they take the old mattress when they brought the new one? Glad it worked out for you!

TempurPedic in San Jose, California - Defective Tempur-pedic foundation X 3

ALERT! Tempur-pedic foundation defect! We have received THREE sequential Tempur-pedic queen 5” foundation replacements in 2013, all with defective ribs or horizontal wood strips. One or both dislodge from the frame, making the foundation unstable. If you hear a creaking noise in your Tempur-pedic foundation, check for a broken rib by running your hand along the side rail. If the rib or slat has dropped below the level of the foundation frame, it is broken, and you should contact Tempur-pedic customer service for a warranty foundation replacement. We have solid steel slats bolted to the bed frame with center feet, as recommended by Tempur-pedic, so our bed frame support for the foundation and mattress is not an issue.

We also had to replace our foundation. It had terrible straw sounds which we found were fractures in the wood supports.

When we called the company, they knew right away what the problem was and sent out new foundations right away.

We have had the bed for 6 years now and while it is very comfortable, we still find it has a chemical smell. We are going to attempt to sell it on Craig's List and buy another bed.

TempurPedic - Warrenty scam!!

Dear Tempur-Pedic They originally sent us a cloud supreme replacement. Which we notice was the wrong mattress and then after about about two months they sent us what was to be considered to be the right mattress. So we have had this mattress since about March or April 2013. We were told it would take time to condition. So we have had our warranty replacement mattress for a while now. This mattress has never conditioned the way our very first one did. This one only turned to be hard as a rock. My husband and I are very disappointed in Tempur-Pedic. We thought that Tempur-Pedic was the Worlds best mattress out there. This mattress is actual hurting us to sleep on. What have they changed to make this one fail. I believe you scam the customers when their is a warrenty issue instead of warrenting the mattress with the correct replacement you replace it with a lower grade firmer mattress so there wont be anymore warrenty issues. You already got paid for the mattress by the consumer, and they think the consumer is *** enough to fall for this scam!! Attorney general complaint is the next step!

I, too bought these slippers, and they are flat as pancakes. I never thought to return them.

Also, they STINK. My feet actually are worse since wearing them--they tingle and sting and are hot.

I hate them and threw them to the back of the closet. A total waste of money.

Tempurpedic "Off-Gassing" Caused Seizure

I wish I had found this site before buying a Tempurpedic. Now, my health and immune system are compromised for the rest of my life. We purchased a left over model that had a ripped plastic shipping cover. We were given a VERY generous discount because the mattress cover was dusty where the rips were, as well as it being a left over model. The very first night, I had a Grand Mal seizure with convulsions so violent that it caused hairline fractures in one of my spine bones. After the seizure, my new neurologist performed a 24 hour EEG & I have no seizure activity. She concluded the "out-gassing" provoked my seizure. A "Provoked Seizure" is not the same as Epilepsy (see below for more info on a "provoked seizure"). The mattress is not comfortable for my husband. He now has constant hip & shoulder pain. Re: An example of a "Provoked Seizure" is when an alcoholic stops drinking, they sometimes have seizures while they are detoxifying. Those seizures are not Epilepsy, they are provoked by the withdrawal off of alcohol. Sometimes, prescription medications provoke seizures.

I too am dealing with health problems from the toxic off gassing from my tempurpedic.

I've seen lab results of what these beds are made of, and sat crying after reading it.

I was sickened to see what a toxic waste dump their mattresses are. And that this company

I trusted with thousands of dollars, was literally sickening me and thousands of others.

I wish I had seen this web site before I spent over 3 grand on their products.

Tempurpedic mattresses off gas horribly. Besides the polyurethane foam off gassing, their chemical fire barrier off gasses too.

You claim to deal with seizures every day?

If you did then you would know that heavy chemical exposure can trigger one. These mattresses are a toxic epidemic and they have a huge legal department dedicated to squashing anyone who tries to bring it to light

She didn't say it was the mattress, her doctor said it was the off gassing. what an unintelligent response.

seizures are not caused by a mattress lady. we deal with seizures every day and stress and underlying reasons are the number one cause. not a mattress

Tempurpedic mattress poisoned us with its off-gas

We paid $3200 for a Tempurpedic king-size mattress at HOM Furniture in Bloomington, MN. After two days of sleeping on it (and it WAS the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on), my wife threw up and developed hives and I had severe diarrhea for 14 hours. Both of us became very dizzy and nauseated, we developed sore throats and our voices became scratchy, and we had to go to a motel for the next two nights. We're back home airing the house out. Since the formula for Tempurpedic foam is proprietary, we don't know what's in it, but I suspect formaldehyde and other poisonous gases. I haven't been able to eat--or especially drink coffee, which exacerbates my symptoms of nausea and dizziness. The store was very nice about picking it back up and allowing us a credit toward the purchase of a new Serta IComfort, which is being delivered.

If you saw the lab results of what these mattresses are made of, you'd probably throw up some more.

You are right it does contain formaldehyde and dozens of other toxic chemicals!
