TempurPedic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Tempupedic FOAM Rubber hype

I wouldn't recommend one of these foam mattress to a pig! It's all BS and hype, I don't care what the NASA people say. It's just foam rubber, dense cell. They are hot, too dammed heavy to flip and they do form indentions where you sleep and will not change. They are high priced junk not worth re cycling. Find a good real mattress instead of foam rubber. Pillow are the same, hot do not sleep well. Your body needs support, foam rubber does not support, it breaks down quickly. Our is less than 10 years old. Remember a lot of sales people will sell you anything that they can make extreme profits from. Buy at your own risk, but reconsider!! Ron in Edmond, OK

TempurPedic in New Orleans, Louisiana - Must also purchase foundation to get

Granted, bought ours 10 yrs ago, just found out the real truth. when we purchased, were told we needed to also buy the foundation in order to get the 20 yr warranty. Mattress had bad large indentation on my husband's side. He's 6'3", 220#. called back then, were told to take a picture of the indentation to prove it was at least an inch deep. Yeah, that's possible. Finally bought new mattress this week, took apart foundation...cloth covering cheap, narrow wooden slats full of knots WITH A SHEET OF CARDBOARD ON TOP!!. NOT plywood - CARDBOARD!! This is the *** they said was "necessary to maintain the integrity" of the mattress! GRRRRR! the slats were badly bowed, so no wonder the mattress sagged. So ticked I wish I could sue. But I plan to spread the word about this to as many sites as I can.

I fell down the stairs and I couldn't get comfortable in our regular bed. So my my husband decided to spend more money and get me a tempur pedicure mattress. We tried it out for the 90 day trial, and I was still in a lot of pain. But then I had my third miscarriage,...

TempurPedic in Saint Louis, Missouri - Dave G.

The smell is a huge problem. I believe it made me sick. They call it outgassing...think about that for a moment. It's a disgrace that this is a legal product. Things smell bad for a reason. The reviews were there and I overlooked them. After one week, we exchanged the toxic TemperPedic for a latex product. Luckily, our retailer worked with us. Mattress be gone. I'm surprised there aren't more government controls on this but buyer beware. I'm a "pass" on sleeping on a bed of chemicals. Don't wanna sniff glue while I'm sleeping. Good riddance. You've been warned. Oh, I'm much better now.

TempurPedic - DYING CONSUMER

I RECIEVED A PILLOW AS A GIFT. IF IM NOT MISTAKEN THE SMELL IS ACETONE. I WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND MY CHEST WAS ON FIRE (NOT LITERALLY). IT FELT LIKE THE WORST HEARTBURN EVER. I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD SUE FOR DAMAGES BECAUSE IM SURE A LAYER OF MY LUNGS WAS CHEMICALLY BURNED.ITS LIKE HUFFING PAINT OR SOMETHING. IM A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE AND IF IT DOES TURN OUT THAT SLEEPING WITH THIS PILLOW HAS HARMED MY BREATHING CAPABILITIES I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION. NO ONE WHO PURCHASES A PRODUCT FOR COMFORT SHOULD HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HOW IT CAN OR MAY TAKE A TOLL ON THEIR HEALTH. IM UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT NOW WRITING TO COMPLAIN AND IM NOT EVEN THE COMPLAINING TYPE. MAYBE TEMPUR-PEDIC SHOULD ATTEMPT TO AIR OUT THE PRODUCTS BEFORE ASSUMING THE SMELL WILL "DISSIPATE" OVER TIME.

Tempurpedic=no comfort, hideously hot!

We purchased a tempurpedic bed the contour signature from a local furntiture store. The bed felt good when we layed on it in the store. We purchased it a few days later over the phone. Therefore, we were not informed about the 30 day sleep period where you have to sleep on it for 30 days. Initially, lots of aches and pains and sinking into the bed. Difficult to roll out of the hole that your body makes in the foam. Like rolling uphill in your sleep. Each time you move, you have to wait until your body makes a "new hole" to sleep in. Super uncomfortable. Two weeks into our sleep trial, we began experiencing stiff sore necks. Salesman says we need new pillows when we just spent $3000 on the bed! After over 30 days, we still have sore necks and are having a difficult time finding a bed to exchange it for. Super hot!! By the middle of the night, I have to be uncovered which makes whatever is not touching the bed too cold. The hot and cold effect gives me the chills so then I just suffer through the hot. Salesman now says we can buy a cooling mattress pad. Who knows if those work. Bottom line: Tempurpedic does not honor their refund policy if you buy it from a local store so check their policies well. They seem to be dishonest and misleading at best.

We tried this out in the store and selected this model based on a few hours of testing. We got it at home and my wife liked it, I wasn't so sure but it had a trial period so we kept it. During the trial period I traveled a bit and she still liked it. I was just OK...
