Tempurpedic Mattress

I do like my mattress BUT even though I have their mattress pad and also I had to put my regular mattess pad on top of that one to try to stop me from sweating. I feel the sweating is being caused by the foam mattress. Would like to know if anyone has any ideas to stop this from happening. I purchased this mattress due to my back problem and it is great except for the above problem. The money it cost me $1399 1-piece Queen Size is "*** me off" -- why do I have to sweat while I'm sleeping???? Warranty does not cover this.

I have the same problem. The sweat is constant.

Tossing and turning and wiping the sweat off my chest and face. Literally, I have been drenched (without exaggeration). It takes awhile for me to fall asleep inwhich you actually feel the heat rising. Its horrible!

I hate this bed!

Meopausal women, watch out, stay away! :(

Memory foam mattresses reduce pressure by being in contact with more of your body. But this increases insulation of the body. Most people need to reduce how much cover they use, or lower their thermostats.

remove the zippered cover and use just he tempur advanced mattress protector puls a fitted sheet 100% cotton then use top sheet and comforter that are 100% cotton only poliester doestn allow the mattress to breathe making it absorb you body heat.

Memory foam will warm up to your body temperature. Try removing blankets and sleep with a sheet and light blanket. also the use of two mattress pads decreases the natural airflow of the mattress which increases your issue.

TempurPedic in Summit, Mississippi - Tempur Pedic Company Delivery Service Sucks

I ordered a mattress online through the Tempur Pedic company's website and used a credit card to pay in full. I was told delivery service would take no more than 21 day. Well that was a lie from the get go.Order was Aug. 30, 2011 and delivery was over 24 days later. Two day after purchase, I received a recorded call from the delivery service. I assumed the mattress would be promptly delivered. Calling customer service, I seem to get the runaround, blame was put on their delivery service. I tried calling their delivery service ( Home Direct ), and got disk connected or either listed to a useless recording. Tepur Pedic delivery services sucks. I will not buy from Tempur Pedic company online again. YES, I'm pissed, very Pissed.

Tempur-pedic did the same thing to me. They set delivery date , but they were a no show.

Then to find out the purchase was never shipped. What a bunch of *** holes.

This post is completely irrelevant. If you had done any of your own research you would know that the delivery is completely different and separate from Tempurpedic.

If you don't want something shipped by that shipper than don't use that shipper. Actually driving and making face contact IS still an option these days!

I placed an order for a TempurPedic Cloud Luxe bed on 8/26/11. I read on the FAQ page that it would take 7-21 days for delivery. During the week of 9/12, I called 3 different times for status updates on my bed's shipping/delivery. On 9/13, I was told the...

We are going through this now although not as bad as you YET.

We ordered our bed in Rapid City at a temperpediic store.

3-5 days delivery time they said. After 8 days I called and was told it would be here a week later. So it should have been delivered tomorrow but guess what, it's not here yet.

They have 1 more week or we want our money back. :(

Tempurpedic foundation falls apart repeatedly.

We purchased our Tempurpedic mattress a little over a year ago. The mattress is fine but the foundation under it fell apart after a few months. The retailer replaced it and now it too has fallen apart. I just spent a few hours replacing the fiberboard stringers with real 3/4: plywood. The fiberboard had not only warped but had broken in 4 different places. My side of the bed fell apart the most and I weigh less than 140 pounds so it certainly wasn't over stressed. Do not buy one of these, the construction is less than 3rd rate.

I have just owned my Tempurpedic for 6 months now and have just realized that part of the wood in the foundation is cracked. Now I am worried that nothing can or will be done about this.

I am still making installment payments for this bed.

I was pretty much satisfied with the bed so far, but not as thrilled as I had hoped. :cry :(

My wife and I purchased split king Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody complete with individual adjustable bases and was happy with our purchase for about 3 years. After that things have gone down hill quickly. Do not depend on Tempur's warranty it does not cover the problems...

I also have the Rhapsody mattress, for about 5 years. At first it was very comfortable.

Recently I have been waking up with lower back pain, so I suspect it is sagging in that area.

I have just turned the mattress 180 degrees and am hoping this will help for a while.

Adrienne, how long have you had yours? We used to love ours too.

In fact I have been in denial the past year as my husband has been telling me our bed is why we both have constant back aches.

It has become so soft there is no support and the warranty will not cover it because it springs back to its original shape. We are to the point of removing the bed and sleeping on the floor until we find something else.

I have had an awesome experience on my bed I have had back surgery and tried everything. So many people are just upset over wanting things to be so perfect that there is no room for just understanding. The bed weighs a lot the mechanics in them are always being updated and for once just understand you have to match quality and customer service which is top notch.

I purchased a tempurpedic about a year ago and it was the worst mattress I have ever slept on. It seemed comfortable enough except within a few weeks my hips were hurting so bad I had to add what ever I could find to try keep my hips from sinking in so far.

On my first night back from vacation (where I slept pain free) my hips hurt so bad I had to use one of my spare beds.

I was lucky enough to be able to trade it in the next day for a plain bed. Unfortunately I was out quite a bit of money.

Well you can add me to the group of people who thought if you spent $4000 on a mattress it might last you a lifetime, especially if you were already in your 50's. Well we did just that. It's an absolute terrible bed. We've owned it 3 years. My neck has a bulging...

WOW DITTO

Ive had matrees 11/2 yrs-bought same month and wish I knew a class actionlawsuit was filed for this about the foam and off gasing and serious health problems. After I has the matress I devoped low oxygen levels and now have to wear a oxygen tank on Airplane flights-which is big deal for us.I also have had to start wearing a CAPA machne every night!

I have terrible new aches in shouldersI suspect from trying to turn on bed -my back is worse not any better.

When I sleep in another room and test my back I get out of bed better on a plain regular hard mattress and the minute I get out of bed with this mattress is painful and distressed.I try my best to g to bed late so I wont have to get up for restroom in middle of night as so hard to roll and get out of the bed.

No handles, you cant move it,no way to look at the foam and condition as now an un zippable cover. Ive tried to return it-I have a $4,000 loss and am so sad.Who wants to throw that kind of money away?
