TempurPedic in Columbus, Ohio - Customer Service Has Been Terrible
We had a Temperpedic mattress go bad after about 5 years. We tried a 1/4 turn on the mattress in April to see if that helped when I first filed a warranty claim. It did not help so, after giving it ample time to break in that way, I followed up with another warranty claim in early December to which they responded on 12/9 asking for all of the info that I had already sent them. I tried contacting them back 2 more times over the course of the next 3 weeks to get nowhere with them. I finally called after the first of the year and finally got them to send me the replacement protocol. We're told to call in to give them the replacement info... good luck. 30min on hold yesterday to be cut off, 45min on hold today during which time I tried live chat and couldn't get a response after their initial response to me. Once a rep answered 48min into my hold today, they cut me off yet again. I have yet to be called back even after giving the rep my tel. # the very first thing in our conversation. Utterly terrible experience!

It took me 3 years to pay the $3000 I spent on this mattress, thinking it would be worth it for the supposedly great sleep benefits. Coincidentally (?) that is about the same length of time it took for the mattress to become unbearably uncomfortable. I am now stuck...
Tempurpedic Ergo bed is awful
I bought a full size $4000 Tempurpedic Ergo bed about a year ago, and have had nothing but problems. One of the selling points was that Tempurpedic mattresses do not harbor dust mites, and I have a severe dust mite allergy. I find that I usually sleep on the leather sofa, because when I sleep in the Tempurpedic, first of all it raises my body temperature and I constantly wake up sweating. And second of all, I have a headache when I wake up in the morning, and I don't have a headache when I sleep on the leather sofa. Anyway, I recently had an appointment with my allergist, and it was time for allergy testing. And guess what? I tested very very high for dust mites. How could this be? Tempurpedic advertises that their beds do not harbor dust mites. Well, I did some internet research and found out that memory foam mattresses harbor four to five times more dust mites that regular mattresses. And I have the allergy tests to prove it. Tempurpedic's advertising is false and misleading, and I have the allergy tests to prove it. Now--- how do I get my 4000 dollars back?
