I have two of their top of the line "Grand Pillows" and at $350/ea, I expect them to last more than 5 months. They did not. Now, I'm not just jaded over this, I own two of their high end beds and have/or had owned at least a dozen of their pillows over the years. This...

We just got our replacement mattress of the Prima cloud. Our classic mattress sunk on one side and had a dip in it so it was still under warranty and we replaced it with this cloud prima mattress. After the moving company opened it and put it on our frame it had the...

My husband and I are both having problems caused by sleeping on our relatively new Tempurpedic mattress. Aside from the initial smell, which was horrid, we are both experiencing chest pain and heavy night sweats.

The chest pains seem to result from the memory foam wherein you are in a constant sunken position that puts pressure along the chest bone if you are a side sleeper. I have read that the night sweating is a common problem with these mattresses.

The chest pain and night sweats go away when we switch to a different bed.

Tempurpedic Mattress
Reason of review
Damaged or defective
My wife and I got a tempurpedic cloud because we were tired of waking up with back pain from the 15 year old mattress we had currently owned. We had seen the commercials and every thing seemed to point to the cloud and a way to end back pain. Since this was going to...

We tested ours out in the store first and it felt like heaven. Then ours gets delivered and we were both wondering if maybe the wrong bed was brought to us.

Unfortunately, it was the correct bed. It was so hard and uncomfortable, nothing like the one we tried in-store. And we bought ours on sale and the terms of that sale would not allow us to return in. We have had it for quite some time and I still have neck and back pain, constant tossing and turning, and I can't sleep on my side or my side falls asleep- it is that hard.

I just couldn't believe how different the one in store was compared the one that we got and it was the same bed.

Talk about a costly disappointment. And we got the fancy base that lifts your head and feet up- waste waste waste of money for the whole thing.

TempurPedic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Terrible Customer Service

I paid $5400 for a split queen adjustable mattress in 6/08. In the last week one of the remote control stopped working one side of the bed. After spending some time on the phone with customer service it was determined that one of the control boxes was bad-and they would be happy to SELL me another control box for $200 plus dollars! I paid way too much in the first place and refuse to pay even more. We hardly use the adjustability features-I'm surprised it quit working already! And when I told customer service rep Elizabeth how unhappy I was and that I would post my dissatisfaction on the internet-she said "OK!" It will be the last time I spend any money with TempurPedic. Buyer Beware!

We too have had trouble with our remotes from the beginning. And now I discover they want $100 a piece for replacements.

Having spent $8500 initially, I would expect customer to be treated more graciously. It makes me feel foolish for spending so much.

TempurPedic in Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania - Tempur-Pedic

Great beds but do not go for the extra's like the massage and the lift system. The problem are the motors they use for the message are way to week for the thickness of the bed,I also have another adjustable bed that i bought from my chiropractor and the message and the lift was much better and was $3,000.00 cheaper but Tempur-Pedic mattress and foundation is mush better but not $2,000.00 better that is the difference from the price of my old bed to this new Tempur-Pedic I just got and that was there top of the line twin x-long with everything they offer. I would never have payed that much but someone in my family offered to buy it for me so i took it after all i have heard about it.Well it is like most stuff you see and read about 1/2 truths i guess is the best way to put it

If you dealt with a real professional they would have known that Tempurpedic says not to use the standard Ergo base with the thicker mattresses like the Cloud Lux or the Grand Bed. The Advanced Ergo, however, is designed to lift the thicker, heavier beds.

Tempurpedic Mattress

I do like my mattress BUT even though I have their mattress pad and also I had to put my regular mattess pad on top of that one to try to stop me from sweating. I feel the sweating is being caused by the foam mattress. Would like to know if anyone has any ideas to stop this from happening. I purchased this mattress due to my back problem and it is great except for the above problem. The money it cost me $1399 1-piece Queen Size is "*** me off" -- why do I have to sweat while I'm sleeping???? Warranty does not cover this.

I have the same problem. The sweat is constant.

Tossing and turning and wiping the sweat off my chest and face. Literally, I have been drenched (without exaggeration). It takes awhile for me to fall asleep inwhich you actually feel the heat rising. Its horrible!

I hate this bed!

Meopausal women, watch out, stay away! :(

Memory foam mattresses reduce pressure by being in contact with more of your body. But this increases insulation of the body. Most people need to reduce how much cover they use, or lower their thermostats.

remove the zippered cover and use just he tempur advanced mattress protector puls a fitted sheet 100% cotton then use top sheet and comforter that are 100% cotton only poliester doestn allow the mattress to breathe making it absorb you body heat.

Memory foam will warm up to your body temperature. Try removing blankets and sleep with a sheet and light blanket. also the use of two mattress pads decreases the natural airflow of the mattress which increases your issue.
